New building has brought this regional airport up to date. Plenty of space and seating. Check in area is right down the end of the terminal which works well if you are dropping of a hire car or parked in the new secure parking area. There is a cafe that has the usual sandwichs and drink and poor quality coffee. Still no Qantas Club here.
Very pleasant atmosphere and beautiful location.
Loveable little airport with easy access and speedy flight boarding times. There is a small cafe which has a good amount of seating at the arrivals area. Check in is very fast and rental cars easily available. Secure longer term parking is only a few hundred metres away turning right exiting the terminal. Drop off is easy. Minimal security screening and premium carry on facilities for the small dash 8 aircraft serving the airport.
The renovation and new wing is great. The airport now looks more noticeable and welcoming when arriving from Sydney. The cafe appears to have upped it's standards although I did not have a chance to try anything while passing through. It's still a small airport for a small city but it's a good improvement. The parking is also free which you can't complain about.
