Very Western menu but flavour is good. Meal size is decent. Dinning environment is fine but the detail is not clean. Aircon in comfortable temperature. Toilet was not clean n sticky. For Chinese, may need to remind them to cut the sugar level down. Water is hard to swallow, got pipe tase.
Great authentic food and friendly service. Price is reasonable relative to the meal portions.

Not fancy, but consistent. If St Kilda is at or near the best value Aussie food in town; Mung Hing would be its Aussie-Chinese equivalent. Authenticity 50% Aussie : 50% Chinese
I have been coming to the Mung Hing since it is was a fish & chip shop where chips were six pence. The meals are good size and a box to take the left overs is never a problem. Also has private dining or function areas. Certain days of the week they have a buffet meal. Banquets for groups of 4 or more are welcome.
