Very sad little store. Shelves are empty and support is scarce. I bought a belt sander only to find that they are continually out of stock of the belts needed to use it.. Last week I was told that this would change in a month when the store is refurbished, but I could order-in sanding bets via the special orders desk to expedite the process, only to find that I had to prepay them to get-in out of stock items. This wasn't a special order but I had to prepay to get them to stock their own shelves. I ordered the belts online elsewhere and had then delivered for the same price. Not impressed!!That was 3 months ago. I was back again today to buy a paintbrush cleaning comb. I couldn't find it and asked a staff member if they knew where they were. She said she didn't know, smiled, and walked off. I waited for the staff member at the paint counter for 6 minutes while he served another customer, hoping he'd know. He then ignored me and left with the customer to go to another terminal in the kitchen area. The next staff member said he'd never heard of it, and when I said it was a basic item and I'd bought one at their Coffs store the week prior for a friend, I was told that Armidale is much smaller store and probably doesn't stock them. He then googled and said there was no such thing. I then checked Bunnings online which showed them in stock at Armidale. He thought I wanted a brush cone???!!!. Using the reference number of my phone, he eventually found it hanging off a corner shelf but not in the paint department!! Seriously!

Open hours: good. Range: good. Quality and prices are hit and miss. Service is excellent if you are able to find someone to help you.
Seems like they are going broke aost a ghost shop. The cash registers have largely being removed and only one cashier operates and that is labelled "returns" they anticipate maybe getting a couple cash registers opened for Christmas? The staff in attendance all seemed preoccupied in groups or aimlessly walking the isle's. The young man at the front of the store was friendly and helpful.
